About the project
The Problem:
Hot97 needed a brand identity for their new show 1st Impression. The show highlighted up and coming artists and gave them a platform to share their story.
The Solution:
Logo and Icon mark.
The Goal:
Create a look and feel for the brand that can be used for content, marketing and events.
I first came up with a mood board to give an idea about the look and feel of the brand. This process was important to establish the creative direction. I proceeded to work on ideas for the logo and icon mark.
After the mood board was established I created a first round of images that express the idea of the show.
After meetings on design and direction with the client, we decided to go and in a different direction and I came up with this logo below. This logo created more flexibility in uses.
This is the logo in use on instagram and generally how it could be applied on social media.
