About the project

Cura is a skincare company founded by Michelle Tu. Her line of calcium based skincare products help increase hydration, minimize signs of aging and restore skin’s natural glow.

Michelle reached out to me to come up with digital illustrations to show the various levels of skin health from damaged to healthy.

Round 1: Exploration of ideas and sketches for the epidermal, skin cells and overall skin structure.

Round 2: Fleshing out the line art in illustrator. Making sure the viewer can distinguish between damages, intermediate and healthy skin.

Round 3: Final Illustration, brought my line drawings from illustrator into photoshop to add the final colors.
